Car Maintenance 101: What to Expect When You Own a Car

Owning a car comes with its responsibilities. Depending on the make and model of your car, you’ll have different maintenance requirements. Clean filters like air filter, oil filter, fuel filter can improve your car’s performance. As you run your car, these filters get dirty and clogged so it’s important to check and replace them as needed.

Serpentine belt

The serpentine belt or engine belt is responsible for running all of the accessories in your engine (water pump, power steering, alternator, etc.). It should be replaced every 60,000 to 100,000 miles.
